Ride historic PCC trolleys dating back to the pre-war era along the scenic Neponset River on the MBTA’s Mattapan Trolley line. Take the Red Line to Ashmont station and then transfer to the Mattapan Trolley. Ride it all the way to the Mattapan Station and take bikeshare back on a brand new trail with great views of the trolley, or get off at Milton or Central Ave stations to explore a historic mill neighborhood.
